To Write is to Survive
The first published volume of Ludwig Harig's collected works assembles essays and speeches reflecting on half a century of writing and creating.
Ludwig Harig's entry into the first league of German-speaking writers was confirmed by the great success of his autobiographical novels ORDNUNG IST DAS GANZE LEBEN, WEH DEM, DER AUS DER REIHE TANZT and WER MIT DEN WÖLFEN HEULT. His collected works, of which WER SCHREIBT, DER BLEIBT is the first published volume, contain poetic and aesthetic texts, lectures, essays and reviews. Frequently, these texts also carry the voice of »the poetic pilot«, telling stories and reflecting on 50 years of writing and creating. An afterword and a condensed commentary by German literary historian Werner Jung provides the necessary context.
