The touching story of Palmström's bloodless mouse-hunt, with wonderfully humorous pictures by Peter Schössow.
"There's no bacon in the house / but, instead, a little mouse…" One of Morgenstern's most touching poems tells the tale of the gentle Palmström who doesn't know how to evict a mouse from his home. His friend Korf has a plan: they need a cage, as big as Palmström himself, in which he can sit and play the violin. Tempted by the sweet sound, the mouse will crawl inside…and then the cage can be disposed of in the forest. Exactly how they do this cannot be told but must be seen – in Peter Schössow's delightful pictures.
