At long last, here's another Little Charlie book for reading out loud, for all kids who are ready for 'proper' books: full of pictures, but with lots and lots of real stories as well.
On the whole, Little Charlie is a good boy. But he can be stubborn at times. For example, he can't understand why he shouldn't spit his chewing gum out onto the pavement. He even gets into an argument with his dad about it. And, in his upset, he kicks at an empty bag of chips - but unfortunately it isn't empty at all. There are still chips in it. And ketchup! Yuck! Who would go and throw something like that on the street? That's what the Little Charlie stories are like. Whether they're about watching television or tidying up, going to bed or cuddling - they're always true to life. Or true to Charlie's life. It's all one and the same thing.
