The Eckstein family is moving: From Heidelberg to a Bavarian one-horse town in the middle of nowhere. This is not, at all, what 11-year-old Josie had imagined.
It’s been decided ever since Uncle Gustav has signed over his farm to the family: Josie has to leave behind her home, her saxophone lessons, and her climbing-friend Robert because the family is moving to the Bavarian countryside. During their very first break, however, Josie is surprised how friendly people are. And as they arrive, she is astonished by the sheer sight of the old farmhouse that is now theirs. You could totally install a climbing wall here! And it gets even better: Her neighbor Kati immediately introduces Josie to all her friends. And Josie finds herself playing in the brass orchestra in no time. Time really flies and Josie misses Robert only occasionally. But they’ll see each other soon enough because he’ll visit her in her new home during the holidays!
