Bibs is in a lousy mood. His bike has vanished, his parents are cross with him, and, all in all, everything and everyone is getting on his nerves. His only escape is to hide in the washing basket – at least there, he can forget about the world. Bibs would happily never see his brother Yanni ever again. On top of all the other stuff, he has to put up with the constant pop music that's always blaring in the room they share. It's more than Bibs can stand. It's just as well he's found refuge in the laundry basket – it's warm and cosy in here. If only it wasn't quite so dark…and then, suddenly, a light comes on in the washing room. It's amazing, but it seems the moment Bibs wishes for something, it comes true! And in his fury, he has made the whole world disappear. Now it is just Bibs, all alone, sailing on a parachute and drifting lower and lower – this is much more like it!
Later on, when Bibs wakes up, the world has returned – but he is happy now. His mother, though, is baffled. She has found a white parachute in the laundry basket…
