Every afternoon when Charlie comes home from kindergarten he drinks a glass of carrot juice with his Dad. But not today! Today everything's different. Grandma is there and she says there's a surprise waiting for Charlie. What can it be? A new scooter? Or a radiocontrolled motor boat? Has Grandma made a carrot cake? Nope, all wrong. Charlie's little sister, who used to live in Mum's tummy, has come out. She is really tiny and her name is Clara. She is terrific. And she's lucky to have such a great big brother who can show her everything and explain things.
