Wolfgang Hädecke

Wolfgang Hädecke, born 1929, has lived in Dresden since 1994. He is a member of the German P.E.N. and the author of several books. Publications with Hanser Verlag include the biographies Heinrich Heine (1985) and Theodor Fontane (1998) as well as the considerable study of Poeten und Maschinen (German Poets as Witnesses to Industrialization, 1993)
