Thomas Strässle, born 1972 in Baden, Switzerland, is a Professor of Literary Studies at the University of Zurich and head of the transdisciplinary Institute Y at the Bern University of the Arts. He is also a trained concert flutist and works as a freelance musician. He lives in Munich.
