Thomas Schüller

Thomas Schüller born in 1961, studied Catholic theology in Tübingen, Innsbruck and Bonn. He has been a professor of canon law at the University of Münster since 2009. He became known for his critical statements on how the German Catholic Church deals with sexual abuse cases, the controversy surrounding Cologne Archbishop Rainer Maria Woelki and disputes over the objectives of the »Synodal Path«. He is a regular participant in debates and a contributor to leading national media.
