Norbert Niemann

Norbert Niemann was born in Lower Bavaria in 1961, and studied literature, music and history. He has been a full-time writer since 1997, living near Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria. He was awarded the prestigious Ingeborg-Bachmann-Prize for his debut novel Wie man's nimmt (1998). 2001 his second novel, Schule der Gewalt, appeared.
