Michael Maar

Michael Maar, born 1960 in Stuttgart, studied German literature and psychology. His doctoral thesis on Thomas Mann was published in Carl Hanser Verlag in 1995. From 1997-98 he was fellow of the Institute for Advanced Study in Berlin, in 2002 visiting professor in Stanford and from 2005-06 fellow of the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation.
