Michael Jeismann, born in 1958, is a historian and journalist. From 1993 to 2006 he was the feature pages editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Since 2009 he has been an associate professor of history at Humboldt University in Berlin. He also works in various capacities for the Goethe Institute.
