Martin Krauß was born in 1964 in Koblenz. He studied Political Sciences in Berlin. He worked as co-editor for Sportkritik and was head of the sports department of Jungle World. Since 1997 he writes articles and books about football, swimming, boxing and doping. Today he works as free-lancing journalist for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the taz and the Jüdische Allgemeine. He lives in Berlin.
