Lilian Faschinger

Lilian Faschinger was born in 1950, she lives in Vienna. She studied English and history in Graz, and has been working as a writer and translator since 1992. Her highly acclaimed novel Magdalena Sünderin(1995) has been translated into 17 languages. In 2008 she received the distinguished Friedrich Glauser Prize for crime fiction. Her most recent novels are Wiener Passion(1999) and Stadt der Verlierer(2007).
