Katharina von Arx
Katharina von Arx was born in 1928 in Solothurn. At 28 she published Nehmt mich bitte mit before travelling around the world on journalism assignments, returning with sensational stories of her further adventures. In 1959 she bought a monastery in Romainmôtier with her husband Freddy Drilhon. She ran the house as a social centre and meeting place until her death in 2013.
