Joseph von Westphalen, born 1945, likes to ridicule what others hold dearly. In 1985 he began to collect his indignation, distributed among various publications, in several books such as Warum ich Monarchist geworden bin (Why I Became a Monarchist). He has also written several novels, among them Die bösen Frauen (Bad Women) and Im diplomatischen Dienst (In Diplomatic Service).
