Joachim Radkau

Joachim Radkau, born in 1943, teaches history at Bielefeld University. Among his most important books are Deutsche Industrie und Politik (with George W.F. Hallgarten, 1974), Aufstieg und Krise der deutschen Atomwirtschaft 1945–1975 (1983), and Technik in Deutschland (1989). Hanser published Das Zeitalter der Nervosität – Deutschland zwischen Bismarck und Hitler (1998).
