Ivan Nagel

Ivan Nagel was born in Budapest in 1931 and has been living in Germany since 1948. He worked as a theatre and music critic, was director of the Schauspielhaus Stuttgart and is now teaching aesthetics and the history of performing arts at the Art Academy of Berlin. Previous publications in Hanser Verlag include Autonomie und Gnade. Über Mozarts Opern / Autonomy and Grace. On Mozart's Operas (1986) and Kortner Zadek Stein (1989).
