Irene Ruttmann

Irene Ruttmann was born in 1933 in Dresden and now lives in Bad Homburg. She studied German and theatre studies amongst other subjects, and went on to work as a lecturer at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main as well as for publishing houses and the radio. She first made a name for herself with her children‘s books. Her first novel Das Ultimatum, was published in 2001.
