Dita Zipfel

Dita Zipfel was born in 1981 and writes children`s books, theatre plays and screenplays; she lives in Berlin. In 2019, Hanser published her YA book debut, Wie der Wahnsinn mir die Welt erklärte. It received numerous prizes, including the German YA Literature Prize and the Korbinian - Paul Maar Prize. The Buchkunst Foundation selected this book, which was illustrated by Rán Flygenring, as one of its 25 Most Beautiful German Books. For Broommps, she has received the Kranichsteiner YA Literature Stipend and the RADAU Stipend of the City of Freiburg. ditazipfel.de
