Anu Stohner, born in 1952 in Helsinki, is a freelance writer and translator living in Munich. Hanser has previously published her three other Little Santa books, most recently Der kleine Weihnachtsmann reist um die Welt, 2006, as well as her books about Brave Charlotte the sheep (Das Schaf Charlotte, 2005; Charlotte und die Wölfe, 2009).
