Andreas Sieren was born in 1970 and has lived over ten years in Africa; first in Botswana, now in South Africa. He worked for many years for the UN; more recently he became a free-lance Journalist. His reports are published in the German WirtschaftsWoche, the South-African Sunday Times, in Asian periodicals such as Singapore's Straits Times and the Indian Business Standard.
