Amelie Fried

Amelie Fried, born 1958 in Ulm, studied drama, journalism, art history and Italian, followed by studies at the Munich Film Academy. She has worked as a TV presenter and lives now as a writer with her husband and two children near Munich. Her book, Hat Opa einen Anzug an? (Hanser, 1997), received the German Youth Literature Award.
