Almud Kunert, born in 1964, studied painting and graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich—the city she also calls her home. Since 1990 she has been working as an illustrator for several publishing houses and advertising agencies. She already illustrated Katja Samt`s first volume Josie Eckstein - Aufbruch ins Abenteuer.
