Der Ball der Tiere is an old nursery rhyme about animals preparing for a great ball. Many things must be considered, and each animal makes different suggestions. What shall we eat? What shall we wear? What shall we drink? Where shall we dance and how? But in the end, of course, everything works out wonderfully, all the animals appear splendidly attired, and the party is a huge success.
